Henderson Sport & Social Is Open: How Residents Get the Most From the City's New Fieldhouse

"The West Henderson fieldhouse is a much-anticipated addition to our community that will serve as a hub for sports and entertainment for our residents, as well as a catalyst for economic growth for our great City." Henderson City Manager and CEO Richard Derrick said that in a December 2024 City of Henderson news release, the day after City Council approved the design and construction.

The release asks the building to do two jobs, serve residents and draw visitors. The prices posted at the door are the same for everyone who walks in. The price a Henderson resident actually pays is lower. Henderson Sport & Social sits at 3375 St. Rose Parkway and opened to the public on October 16 and 17. It is a city-owned building, and the city built a 20% discount for residents into the deal from the start.

A city building with a private operator

From the parking lot it looks like a commercial entertainment center. KSNV's ribbon-cutting coverage on October 15 described a 180,000-square-foot facility with bowling, indoor turf fields for soccer and football, basketball and volleyball courts, an arcade, laser tag, Krazy Darts, a restaurant and a bar. Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero, Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft and leaders from KemperSports and West Henderson Hospital joined the celebration. West Henderson Hospital is the facility's presenting sponsor.

The City of Henderson owns the property. KemperSports operates the building and runs its programming. When the council approved the project in December 2024, the city put the total cost at $70 million. KemperSports contributed $10 million. The remaining one-time costs were assigned to the Public Infrastructure Bond Sale, the West Henderson Development Fund and the City Municipal Facilities Fund. That same release first promised Henderson residents 20% off event programming and activities.

On its Henderson Sport & Social page, the city calls the building Henderson's first-ever fieldhouse. It describes the KemperSports partnership as a way to expand resident access to recreation "without burdening taxpayers with long-term financial impact." The building is meant to earn its keep from paying guests, and the 20% resident rate is how the city's own residents get a better price.

The building also changed between approval and opening. The 2024 plan called for 160,000 square feet and listed axe throwing among its attractions. It opened at 180,000 square feet. If a neighbor quotes an older spec, the current attractions page is the one to trust.

What the posted prices become at 20% off

There's no general admission fee and no membership required to walk in. You pay per activity, and a membership is needed only for the fitness center. A September 8 announcement from the venue advertised 20% off all attractions and fitness memberships for Henderson residents. The venue's attractions price page puts "20% off for Henderson residents" right above the rate card.

The resident column below is straight arithmetic on the posted rates.

Activity Posted price At 20% off
Standard bowling, Monday to Thursday, per lane per hour, up to six people $45 $36
Standard bowling, Friday to Sunday and holidays $55 $44
VIP bowling, Monday to Thursday $55 $44
VIP bowling, Friday to Sunday and holidays $75 $60
Laser tag, one game per person $10 $8
Laser tag, three games per person $25 $20
Mini golf, Monday to Thursday per person $12 $9.60
Mini golf, Friday to Sunday and holidays $15 $12

Shoe rental is listed separately at $5. Two laser tag games cost $17 before any discount. A weekday lane split six ways comes to $7.50 a person at the posted rate and $6 at the resident rate, plus shoes.

The arcade runs on a game card. A firsthand walkthrough published by LV In It reports that $1 buys 5 credits, most games take 2 to 12 credits, and a $20 load buys 125 credits. A new card costs $1.

The fitness sheet shows the discount at work

The fitness membership is the clearest example of the two price tiers. The venue's membership page lists an individual fitness membership at $60 a month. The LV In It guide photographed the resident price sheet on October 14. It shows $48 for individual fitness, which is exactly 20% off, plus $140 for family fitness and $124 for the Social membership. By the guide's account, fitness hours run 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Members get a separate perk of their own, 10% off parties, food and beverage, attractions and league or tournament fees. The arcade is excluded from that perk. The resident discount and the member perk are listed as two different programs. The venue's published terms don't say whether they combine or whether either one stacks with senior or military pricing. Nothing published says the 20% applies to food either. The front desk can answer both questions before you pay.

Claiming the rate on your first visit

The membership page has one instruction for Henderson locals: "show valid id upon first visit for discounts." It doesn't list which IDs are accepted or say whether the ID needs to show a Henderson address. Bring something with your current address on it.

How you book changes where you can ask for the rate:

  1. Book online. Bowling lanes, Krazy Darts bays and parties can all be reserved online.
  2. Buy at the counter. Laser tag, mini golf and attraction passes are sold in person when you arrive.
  3. Ask before you pay. The LV In It guide found no published way to apply resident pricing to an online booking and suggests asking the desk about resident rates for bowling and passes. A counter purchase is the easiest place to show ID.

According to the same guide, the Social House is open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Courts and turf open at 6 a.m. daily and close at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. The guide also notes that hours and prices can change.

Leagues are where the resident rate adds up

A single game of laser tag saves you two dollars. A full season of league fees is where the discount starts to matter. In August, KSNV reported that Henderson residents get 20% off registration for the venue's first youth and adult league season. According to the facility's season announcement, that first season runs October through December 2026 and covers ages 5 through adults.

The league page lists youth leagues in basketball, soccer, volleyball, bowling and flag football, plus introductory youth programs in basketball, soccer, T-ball and flag football. Adult leagues cover basketball, soccer, volleyball, bowling and flag football. The courts and fields are also built for local and regional tournaments. That's the visitor half of the city's plan, and it shares the floor with resident leagues. A team that wants court or turf time for a private practice can start with the venue's sports complex page.

After the game, the Social House

The Social House also serves as the restaurant and bar. The Eat & Drink menu includes a $39 Korean street-market board built for sharing, a $16 smash burger, a $17 Korean crispy chicken sandwich and a $20 16-inch cheese pizza. Kids' cheese pizza is $9. The bar pours local craft beer, cocktails and wine. The facility sits directly behind Chicken N Pickle near St. Rose and Maryland Parkways.
